About
Nina Harth is a researcher at the research collective SUPRB (Ghent University of Applied Sciences and arts) and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Healthcare Research at Ghent University. Holding a bachelor's degree in nursing, Nina's thesis explored the reintegration needs of individuals with drug dependency in prison, highlighting her dedication to addressing challenges at the intersection of healthcare and social reintegration. With experience as a (re)integration coach, she has firsthand knowledge of supporting individuals through difficult life transitions. Now in research, Nina applies her healthcare expertise to innovative computational methods, such as topic modeling, to conduct literature reviews in prevention sciences. Her current projects include PRS20, which addresses drug use among inmates, FORCON, which bridges forensic and healthcare fields, and Preload Life, which explores the influence of parental factors on adolescent alcohol preloading. At Lisbon Addictions 2024, Nina will present her research on using topic modeling to uncover patterns and trends in addiction prevention literature.
