Abstract

E-cigarettes have become popular among smokers as a way of trying to stop smoking completely or reduce the amount they smoke. Concerns have been expressed about their safety and whether use by young people may lead to smoking. Doubts have also been expressed about whether they actually serve the purpose of stopping or reducing smoking. This presentation will focus on evidence about whether and how far e-cigarettes can aid smoking cessation.
