The European Mosaic: prescription drug misuse across borders

Prescription drug misuse provides complex public health challenges. To complicate the issue further, prescribing patterns, medication availability, and cultural and social trends vary widely across countries. Additionally, each country within Europe measures the impacts of prescription drug misuse differently. These factors combine to make comparisons of drug misuse and trends between countries extremely difficult.
