About

As the world becomes more linked through global supply chains and social networks, addiction treatment and the education of the workforce must follow. A mobile workforce and medical tourism for addiction treatment are leading indicators of the need to ensure a universal set of training criteria that is adopted worldwide. Science also dictates a universal minimum skill set for the addiction treatment provider regardless of location. This session will discuss the early work of the International Consortium of Universities for Drug Demand Reduction and implications for the future.
