About

Adam Winstock is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Addiction Medicine Specialist based in London. He is also Honorary Clinical Professor at the Institute of Epidemiology at UCL and Founder of Global Drug Survey, which runs the largest drug survey in the world. He has published over 120 peer reviewed papers, with wide ranging clinical and research interests including opioids, chemsex and currently a focus on medical cannabis and the use of psychedelics in psychiatry. He’s developed a range of free digital harm reduction/self-assessment tools including the Drinks Meter (www.drinksmeter.com) Drugs Meter (www.drugsmeter.com), www.saferuselimits.co and www.onetoomany.co. He holds post-graduate qualifications in medicine (MRCP), psychiatry (MRCPsych), addiction medicine (FAChAM) and a Doctor of Medicine (MD).
