Domingos Duran, Clinical Psychologist, Head of the Unit of Therapeutic Intervention of the Departement of Planning and Intervention Services of SICAD - General-Directorate for Intervention on Addictive Behaviours and Dependencies. He has developed clinical activity for more than 20 years in the area of dependencies, as well as in the training and supervision of professionals involved in this area. He has held positions of technical and supervisory duties of several entities that intervene in the field of Additives and Dependencies in the areas of Treatment and Risk and
Harm Reduction. He has participated in several studies in this area, as researcher as well as consultant. Under his responsibility as Head of the Unit of Therapeutic Intervention of SICAD were developed guidelines for intervention on pathological gambling, as well as conceptual documents on Responsible Gambling.
