About

Is a social worker with a master degree in sociology. Works in the addictive behavior treatment field, specifically with therapeutic communities’ admissions in Division for Intervention on Addictive Behaviors and Dependencies of the Regional Health Administration of Lisbon and Tagus Valley. Has worked in outpatient treatment Centers and in harm reduction structure. Has participated in several investigation projects related to addictive behavior, HIV and sexual behavior and has published articles and books on the subjects.
