Felice Alfonso Nava is Director of the Penitentiary Medicine and Drug Abuse Units, part of the Public Healthcare Service in Padua, Italy. He is a specialist in clinical pharmacology and psychotherapy, PhD in Neuroscience and adjunct professor on neurobiology of addiction at the Universities of Padua, and Modena in Italy. Dr Nava’s research and clinical interests are focused on the neurobiology of addiction, pharmacotherapy of drug abuse, co-morbidities in drug users, and public health. He is also currently Director of the Penitentiary Medicine area for Veneto Region, Coordinator of the Italian inter-regional clinical network on Penitentiary Medicine, and Director of the National Scientific Committee of the Italian Society of Addiction Medicine (FeDerSerD).
