Yiasemi

Ioanna Yiasemi, head of the Cyprus Reitox National Focal Point, has been working in the drug field for the last 18 years. Since 2004 she has been working in the National Focal Point, part of the Cyprus National Addictions Authority, a supreme state coordinating body in Cyprus responsible for all issues related to licit and illicit drugs in Cyprus, as well as pathological gambling. In her professional course, she has had the opportunity to work clinically with drug users, to see the drug phenomenon from a research perspective, but also to develop policies and strategies to tackle the phenomenon on a national and international level. She hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.
