Borges

Marta Borges is responsible for the Harm Reduction team in the Division of Intervention in Additives Behaviors and Dependencies - DICAD, in the Regional Health Administration of Lisbon and Tagus Valley. Academic background: has a Degree in Social Service, and has always developed practical work as well as research work in the area of Harm Reduction, where she has also actively worked as a trainer.
Later completed her academic background with a master's degree in communication sciences, organizations and new technologies by the Portuguese Catholic University and started the doctorate in communication sciences at ISCTE – University Institute in Lisbon. Also keeps collaboration with 'More participation, better health' a project that advocates for public health participation in health.
Areas of interest are harm reduction, public policy in the area of additives behaviors and dependencies, human rights within harm reduction, communication and new technologies, and also e-health.
