Abstract

People addicted to psychoactive substances go to correctional facilities on the basis of judgments of family and juvenile courts. Often the criminal acts committed by them are related to the diagnosed addiction and are carried out under the influence of psychoactive substances. Juvenile addicts who go to these institutions are covered by individual and group therapeutic interventions. Educational activities are also conducted in relation to them in the field of counteracting the deepening of the addiction process. A minor's long-term addiction causes negative effects in many aspects of his life - family life, personal life, school education, preventing the correct course of the socialization process and entering specific social roles. In many cases, it leads to a crime in adulthood and a stay in prisons.

The aim of the work is to show the pedagogical, therapeutic and therapeutic effects undertaken in relation to juveniles staying in correctional facilities and their legal and organizational basis. The possibilities and difficulties related to the addiction therapy of addicted minors who are a specific group of aid beneficiaries will be presented.
