About
This session will be a space for conference participants to critically discuss what a contemporary understanding of ‘success’ in drug policy might mean, and how we should go about assessing it. Key issues to discuss will be how to account for human rights and other key issues beyond typical drug policy metrics, challenges of standarised indicators and cross-country comparisons, as well as the opportunities presented by participatory assessment methods. The session is co-organised by The Pompidou Group – Council of Europe, The International Centre on Human Rights and Drug Policy, and the International Drug Policy Consortium.
