About
A recording of this session is available >>
This symposium will explore questions related to the re-emerging potential and use of psychedelics for mental and substance use disorder treatment. Presentations will address topics on the forefront of current research, including the integration of psychedelics into existing substance use disorder treatments, investigating mechanisms of action, naturalistic use of psychedelics, and clinical trial outcomes. Speakers represent multiple different countries (USA, UK, and Denmark) and various career stages (PhD student, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer). This symposium will kick off an effort by the Journal Drugs: Education, Prevention & Policy to publish a special collection on psychedelics, and interested researchers are invited to submit their work to the journal for consideration.
