InterGLAM Video Contest Award Ceremony
About
Within the frame of the collaboration with LxAddictions22 (23-25/11/2022), Inter·GLAM is organising a video contest for short audio-visual pieces (under 7 minutes) related to the topics of the conference.
Over the Spring and Summer this year, video makers sent their abstracts and completed video entries to the competition, and made adjustments and quality improvements, when requested, in order to be shortlisted for screening at the Lisbon conference. Following this process, a broad shortlist of 18 videos will be shown at the conference in the Inter·GLAM Cinema (in 3 sessions on days 1 and 2 of the conference), in moderated discussion sessions.
Video entries have been submitted in 2 categories:
- Category 1: creatively showcasing an innovative scientific, technical, or civil society activity
- Category 2: to communicate and bring visibility to stories of impactful and insightful lived experience
A 1st prize (800€), 2nd prize (500€), and 3rd prize (300€) will be awarded in each category, based on iterative rounds of evaluation and judging in terms of entries’ impact, content, quality, and creativity.
All of the videos screened are also eligible for a symbolic Lx22 People's Prize (200€) which will be voted on and decided in-situ after the sessions by conference participants.
At the award ceremony, the video-makers will receive their awards, and short clips of the winning entries will be presented, with comments from the organisers and selection panel.
