New advances in alcohol clinical research: evidence from three large National Institute for Health Research-funded randomised controlled trials

This symposium will present three large newly completed randomised clinical trials with widely different alcohol clinical populations and interventions. All three trials used a novel online trial management system which was adapted to the specific clinical research context. The aim of the symposium is to highlight how trial methodology needs to be adapted to take account of population-specific research challenges.
