About

This structured session aims to identify the varied objectives of policies to regulate cannabis supply for recreational purposes in different European countries, and to discuss the establishment of monitoring systems for the appropriate indicators to allow scientific evaluation. It comprises presentations from key policymaking or implementing bodies in Malta, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the Netherlands, outlining their plans, progress, and work towards scientifically based monitoring of their systems. It will conclude with observations on how the countries are adapting monitoring and evaluation to the different versions of “legalisation”, while exploring possible common indicators.
