Dr Ana Gallegos is with EMCDDA since 2009 and currently holds the position of Head of Sector, Action on new drugs. She is responsible for the coordination of the European Union Early Warning System on new psychoactive substances. A Spanish national, she holds a PhD in theoretical and computational chemistry.
