Prof. Dr. Daniel Kotz was trained as a health scientist and epidemiologist. His main area of research are tobacco addiction (use of tobacco and alternative nicotine delivery systems in populations, effectiveness and safety of behavioural and pharmacological treatments in clinical care), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and clinical epidemiology.
