Plettinckx

Els Plettinckx started her career working at the European monitoring centre for drugs and drug addiction (EMCDDA) and works since 2012 at Sciensano which is the Belgian health institute. She works in the Unit illicit drugs which is also the Belgian National Focal Point within the Reitox network of EMCDDA. Furthermore, she is also associated with the work of UNODC in the framework of alternatives to imprisonment. She conducts research about drug-related health consequences of drug use and drug use among some target populations such as people in prison or people who inject drugs.
