Eva-Carina Heier is a resident physician and clinical toxicologist at the Department of Clinical Toxicology and Poison Control Center at Hospital Rechts der Isar, Technical University Munich. Her current research includes the impact of ethanol in recreational drug use and the prevalence of hepatitis C amongst i.v. drug users.
