Jochen is master in criminology and is employed at the Flemish centre for expertise on alcohol and other drugs (VAD) in Brussels, Belgium. He has expertise in drug policy for festivals. Over the past 20 years he developed and implemented several prevention and harm reduction interventions to reduce substance use related risks in recreational settings. He is team coach prevention in recreational settings, board member of the Nightlife Empowerment and Well-being network (NEWnet) and secretary of the European Party+ network for safer party labels.
