About

Nienke Liebregts currently works at the Research and Documentation Centre (WODC). She does mainly qualitative social research in the field of criminology. Her PhD thesis 'Cannabis Changes. Understanding dynamics of use and dependence' at the University of Amsterdam (2015) focused on trajectories of cannabis use and dependence. Since then, she worked on various studies on substance use, such as stimulants. Her more recent research interests include phenomena related to organized crime.
