About

Dr. Samuel Tomczyk works as a junior professor for Digital Health and Prevention at the University of Greifswald. In his research, he examines the impact of digital technologies in prevention and health care, with a focus on (digital) mental health as well as child and adolescent health and safety. He uses mixed methods approaches to investigate co-production in the development, implementation, and evaluation of digital health and prevention in diverse fields (e.g., substance use, radicalization, civil protection). With a holistic view on health and the continuum of care, his focus lies on a psychological perspective on individual, social, and structural factors in the context of digital interventions.
