About

This session will explore approaches to managing and reducing the impact of infectious diseases among people who use drugs. Key themes include the effectiveness of opioid agonist treatment (OAT) in reducing risk, good practice models for engaging and upskilling a broad workforce to provide HCV testing and treatment, HCV and HIV incidence, investigation of skin infections, and improvements in care pathways to enhance linkage to care.
