Mechanisms and outcomes in substance use prevention among youth

To improve the effectiveness of substance use prevention, it is important to identify relevant stakeholders (or agents of prevention) and mechanisms, and to establish relevant outcomes. This session presents different approaches to substance use prevention from multiple perspectives and in different settings and discusses the challenges and possibilities for research and practice.
