About

This session explores the role of novel, neuroscience-informed approaches and contextual approaches on substance use. It strikes a balance between individualised mobile education interventions, and an exploration of environmental and parental influences on substance use. With parental influence being an important factor in substance use prevention, and neuroscience-informed approaches claiming increased attention in recent years, the session will discuss the implications for the future of substance use prevention that utilises digital technologies but acknowledges the relevant social environment at the same time.
