About
Chiara Andrà is associate professor in mathematics education at the University of Eastern Piedmont. Her research interests cover prevention of gambling abuse among teenagers with the aid of mathematical literacy. She is also interested in affect-related issues in the teaching and learning processes and she is currently a member of the board of trustees of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education, she is the leader of the Thematic Working Group 8 on affect for the Conference of the European society for Research in Mathematics Education and a member of the international committee of the Mathematical Views group.
