Mrs Hannah Poulter is an early career researcher who is interested in addictions research in particular projects that reduces harm for, and improves the health and wellbeing of, people who use drugs. Hannah works part time at Teesside University and until Spring 2024 part time at Bristol University. At Bristol University she was as a Senior Qualitative Researcher on a multisite national trial on lethal benzodiazepines and opioid interactions, leading the work in Teesside, funded by the Medical Research Council. Hannah is undertaking her PhD by publication is based on her research on harm reduction for people who use drugs in Teesside such as Heroin Assisted Treatment (HAT), street tablet usage, and co-location of physical healthcare and treatment services
