About
Jeppe Tryggedsson holds a master's degree in Public Health Science (Cand.scient.san.publ.) from the University of Copenhagen, and is currently a PhD student at the Unit of Clinical Alcohol Research, Department of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark.
The PhD project utilizes data from a multinational randomized controlled trial (RCT) conducted in the Denmark, Germany, and the United States, involving older adults (60+) who have received treatment for alcohol use disorder (AUD). The focus of Jeppe’s research is to explore gender differences within this population, which, primarily due to their age, differs from the "typical" AUD demographic.
In addition to his PhD project, Jeppe is employed as a Research Assistant and involved in two other projects at the research unit: the Relay project, an RCT aimed at increasing the number of individuals who engage in public alcohol treatment after hospitalization, and Blend-A, a large intervention study combining traditional alcohol treatment with internet-based modules.
