Katie

Katie McCormick is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Texas at Austin Addictions Research Institute. Her research focuses on advancing evidence-based approaches (e.g., harm reduction, trauma-informed care) to address the opioid overdose and HIV epidemics. She uses equity-centered implementation science, community-engaged methods, and socio-ecological frameworks to develop, implement, and evaluate multi-level interventions. Katie’s research is inspired by her experience supporting the implementation of 25 distinct capacity-building interventions with more than 100 community-based implementation sites.
