About
Rasha is the Scientific Support Coordinator at ISSUP, currently finalizing her PhD at Vrije University Amsterdam in the Clinical, Neuro- and Developmental Psychology Department. Her research focuses on scaling up mental health services across various settings, with a particular emphasis on mental health stigma and the implementation of quality rights in mental health and substance use facilities.
Rasha is a certified National Master Trainer for the EUPC European Prevention Curriculum, recognized by the EUDA. She holds a master's degree in science and a Diploma in Mental Health Policy and Services from the Lisbon Institute of Global Mental Health. Additionally, she serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Addictology.
Before joining ISSUP, Rasha was the Service Development Coordinator for the National Mental Health Programme at the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon, where she coordinated operations in community mental health services and substance use treatment centres.
In her role within ISSUP’s Scientific Support Team, Rasha is dedicated to providing the necessary input and support to ensure the quality of information and services for ISSUP’s members and the broader drug demand reduction community.
