About
I am a quantitative researcher and epidemiologist working on a study evaluating the impact of public health interventions in the prevention of drug-related deaths and wider drug-related harms in Scotland.
My main role is in quantifying the impact of opioid agonist therapy (OAT) on the risk of mortality is those with opioid dependence. In particular, looking at the risk of non-drug related morbidity and mortality (such as suicide and self-harm) in this population, how trends have changed over time, and identifying factors associated with these outcomes.
