About

Prof. Tina Peraica, assistant professor, social pedagogue and psychotherapist, is employed at the University hospital Dubrava at the Department of psychiatry, Referral center for stress-related disorders of the Croatian Ministry of Health and is an assistant professor at the University department of forensic sciences at the University of Split.

She is the head of the Counseling center for victims of domestic violence of the City of Zagreb and a member of the Board and Head of the health section of the Croatian chamber of social pedagogues. She is also an educator and supervisor in education program of integrative psychotherapy.

She has been a researcher on numerous domestic and international scientific and professional projects in the field of stress and psychotrauma and she has written numerous scientific and professional papers. She has lectured and organized various national and international scientific and professional conferences, as well as given invited lecture on stress, psychotrauma, mental health, and crisis interventions.  She has extensive experience working directly with traumatized individuals (civil and war trauma), and her professional and scientific interests include mental health, psychotrauma, and psychotherapy.
