About

Experienced in working with different professional and scientific approaches, the career of Agnès Cadet-Taïrou has been marked by the use of mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative). She has worked at the French Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction (OFDT) since 2002 She has carried out or piloted studies on several aspects of the field of drugs: uses, contexts, practices, consequences, etc., including piloting the OFDT's TREND system (Emerging Trends and New Drugs), which is a network system for identifying and describing emerging trends and phenomena linked to psychotropic substances, illicit or diverted from their intended use.

Today, Agnès Cadet-Taïrou, is a scientific analyst in behavioural addictions and responsible for developing the OFDT's activity in this field, beyond gambling, which is already monitored by the OFDT.
