Anette Søgaard

Anette Søgaard Nielsen is professor with special obligations at the Unit of Clinical Alcohol Research , Psychiatric Research Unit at the University of Southern Denmark. Her research is centred around treatment of alcohol use disorders, reduction of stigma and early identification of alcohol problems. Anette is the author or co-author of more than 150 peer-reviewed scientific articles, nine books, and more than 20 book chapters, most of them about treatment of alcohol use disorders, and implementation of evidence-based practice in the field. Anette is also engaged in narrative medicine at the University of Southern Denmark and member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT).
