About
Dr. Eva Maria Havelka is an academic clinical trainee psychiatrist at the University Hospital of Psychiatry, Zürich, Switzerland. Alongside her clinical residency she is researching the impacts of a regulated framework for cannabis legalisation as a member of Professor Marcus Herdener’s Addictive Disorders research group which is part of the University of Zürich. Additionally, she is a research collaborator to Dr Lorenzo Leggio, National Institute on Drug Abuse, National Institutes of Health, USA.
Eva completed her undergraduate medical degree at Keele University School of Medicine (MBChB) and holds an intercalated BSc in Global Health from Imperial College London. After working as a research assistant to Professor John Marsden and Dr Nicola Metrebian at the National Addiction Centre, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London, she undertook post-graduate clinical training in south London and Kent.
