About

Gráinne is an Associate Professor at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Her research focuses on the epidemiology of drug use, conducting diverse epidemiological studies including, data linkage studies, cohort studies, Delphi consensus studies and systematic reviews on mortality risk associated with drug use; opioid agonist treatment; gender differences in drug use and overdose mortality; and prescription drug misuse and associated harms. Gráinne is a member of the National Drugs Strategy Research Sub-committee in Ireland.
