As PhD candidate in the Detox@Home project, I am conducting research into remote monitoring and intervention during the detoxification of addictive substances. We are working on a clinically applicable prototype, which supports practitioners and patients with detoxing in their own living environment.

I obtained my master's degree in Technical Medicine at the University of Twente (Enschede, the Netherlands), where I was trained to use technology as optimally and safely as possible in the diagnosis and treatment of individual patients. Additionally, I have completed the Nedap University: a post-degree program on software development.
