About

Jenni is the Research Manager at User Voice. Holding a PhD in Sociology (2015), she specialises in qualitative research with marginalised, vulnerable, and ‘hard-to-reach’ communities. Since 2011, Jenni worked on numerous research projects in academia and in the charity sector. She has also taught qualitative research modules at the University of Eastern Finland and delivered lectures on research with marginalised groups. Recently, Jenni has been focused on developing User Voice’s peer research model and providing training on peer research within the UK charity sector.

Her recent research experience includes leading User Voice's contributions to several high-profile projects: the UK Ministry of Justice-funded evaluation of people on probation’s experiences with the Blended Supervision Model, data analysis and report writing on ‘Neurodiversity in the Criminal Justice System,’ and the Cabinet Office-funded evaluation of Police Drug Diversion Schemes in England. Additionally, Jenni serves as the research lead for User Voice’s contract with NHS England, overseeing the monitoring of care quality in all prisons across the Midlands and London.
