Laura

Laura Brown, MD, MPH is a board-certified addiction medicine and family medicine physician who is a Research Assistant Professor in the University of New Mexico Center on Alcohol, Substance Use, and Addictions.  Dr. Brown has extensive community public health experience and worked for many years at the New Mexico Department of Health based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in addition to multiple primary care clinics and non-profit community organizations.  Her current work as a community physician researcher focuses on the voices of the unhoused and supporting community organizations who work with homeless and unstably housed people.
