Mariana

Mariana Matos is a Researcher with an academic background in Clinical and Health Psychology. Over her career, she has focused on working with vulnerable populations, including people who use drugs, the Roma population, and sex workers. Her research employs both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, exploring critical issues such as drug policy, social stigma, mental health, and harm reduction in prisons. Currently, Mariana is a Research Officer at Correlation – European Harm Reduction Network, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where she continues to contribute to the field of harm reduction through her work on European initiatives.
