Dr. Natasha Simonovska is born on June 24,1971 in Skopje. She graduated in 1995 on Medical Faculty of the University "St. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. November 1998 she was employed at the University Clinic for Toxicology. On March 4, 2002, she acquired the title of specialist in internal medicine. Since 2005 she has been actively involved in the work of the Cabinet for Upper GI Endoscopy at University Clinic for Toxicology.
Dr Simonovska is fluent in English, and she uses Italian language. She got master’s in clinical Toxicology on December 1, 2006. She obtained the scientific degree of Doctor of Science in the scientific field of medical sciences on 17.10.2014.
In the teaching at the Medical Faculty in Skopje, the candidate Dr. Natasha Simonovska has been involved since 2002 when she was selected as a junior assistant in the subject of internal medicine. On March 25, 2010, she was elected assistant professor of internal medicine. Dr. Natasha Simonovska is continuously actively involved in conducting practical classes for medical students (in the subject of internal medicine, clinical examination, geriatric and palliative medicine) and in dental students in the subject of internal medicine. Participates in holding practical classes in health clinical practice for medical students. She is educator of residences in internal medicine, dermatology, psychiatry, occupational medicine, clinical pharmacology….
In 2015 she was elected assistant professor, in 2020 she was elected associate professor at the Medical Faculty in Skopje in the field of internal medicine and toxicology. Dr. Natasha Simonovska is the head of the detoxification department at the University Clinic for Toxicology.
She has published scientific papers in scientific journals with impact factor and in international scientific journals.
Dr Simonovska is participant of the local project team providing data on the recreational drug presentations at the University Clinic for Toxicology, Ss Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, North Macedonia for the Euro-DEN Plus and EMCDDA EU4MD and IPA7 pilot project between May and October 2022 AND IPA8 pilot project between July and December 2023.
