Patricia Domingos

A nurse with a Master's degree in Mental Health and Psychiatry, she has 14 years of experience working with critically ill patients in the ICU at Santa Maria's Hospital in Lisbon. She has led a project on delirium in ICU patients and has published an article on the subject. More recently, she has been working as a nurse and researcher at Associação Ares do Pinhal in Lisbon's supervised consumption room. She is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Public Health at the National School of Public Health (Portugal), where she is conducting research for her thesis on the influence of work environments on the mental health of professionals in the field of addictive behaviors and dependencies. Additionally, she has written several opinion articles on emerging health topics for a regional newspaper in Lisbon.
