About

  • PhD Student in the Department of Psychobiology at the Escola Paulista de Medicina – Universidade Federal de São Paulo (EPM-UNIFESP), focusing on Medicine and the Sociology of Drug Use.
  • Graduated in Psychology at Universidade do Vale do Itajaí (UNIVALI), with Specialization in Neuropsychology and in Psychopathology and Mental Health from the Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense (UNESC).
  • The PhD project is developed in partnership with the Department of Health Informatics (DIS-UNIFESP) and Uppsala University (Sweden) for the development of the digital application TrIE-AD (Screening, Intervention, and Referral – Alcohol and other Drugs).
  • He works as a researcher at the Drug Dependence Unit (UDED-UNIFESP), at the Interdisciplinary Center for Studies in Neuroscience, Health, and Education in Adolescence (CIENCIA-UNIFESP), and at the Laboratory of Basic and Applied Cognitive Psychology at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (LPCOG-UFSC).
  • Additionally, serving as the Vice-Coordinator of the Brazilian Network for Science and Education on Alcohol and Other Drugs and as a member of the Brazilian Association of Behavioral Psychology and Medicine (ABPMC), the Brazilian Multidisciplinary Association for Drug Studies (ABRAMD), the International Network on Brief Interventions for Alcohol and Other Drugs (INEBRIA), the Confederación de Adolescencia y Juventud para Iberoamérica, Italia y Caribe (CODAJIC), and the Intercambiantes Brasil Collective.
  • Collaboration is also ongoing with projects linked to the Laboratory for Mental Health and Psychosocial Care Studies at the Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (LAPS-FIOCRUZ) and É de Lei – Harm Reduction Center.
  • Engaged in integrated research, teaching, and extension activities, with a focus on assessment strategies and clinical and psychosocial interventions aimed at prevention, psychological treatment, harm reduction, and health promotion.
  • Author/editor of 11 Brazilian books and 6 international ones, as well as various technical-scientific materials in the fields of mental health and the use of alcohol and other drugs.
