About
Rositsa Racheva holds a Masters’ degree in Clinical Psychologist and a PhD in Educational and Developmental Psychology. She has extensive experience in individual and group counseling of people with substance use disorders and in establishment and management of programs in the field of alcohol and drug addiction. Over the last years she has been consulting, supervising and monitoring projects and programs with health and social orientation. Her research experience includes construction and adaptation of instruments for assessment of cognitive and personality characteristics. She is the author of two books and a number of scientific publications in the field of addictions. At present Rositsa Racheva is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and teaches a lecture course "Alcohol and Drug Use in Adolescence" at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
