About

She has been a clinical psychologist since 1998, with a master's degree in Psychology and Health and a doctoral course in Psychology, 2011, with the study “Neurocognition, social cognition and social functioning in patients with Substance Use Disorders”. Since 1999 until 2007 she was worked as a Psychologist in CAT (Suport Center of Drug Addicts) of SPTT and later IDT.

From 2007 to the present moment she worked as a Specialist in Clinical Psychology, in the category of Health Assistant, at the CRI (Integrated Response Center) of Porto Ocidental do ICAD, IP.

Since 2020, she has been responsible for the Risk Reduction and Damage Minimization Mission Area in this CRI. She also performs assistance functions in the Treatment Area.

Since 2015, she has participated in a cross-border collaboration project, with Galicia, as coordinator and researcher, carrying out three studies:

1- Trans-neuro project: neuropsychological profile of users with disorders related to the use of psychoactive substances in treatment in a therapeutic community/day unit;

2- Effectiveness of the therapeutic game "O Trisquel" in the treatment of users with disorders related to substance abuse: neuropsychological and proteomic study of biomarkers predicting response;

3- Efficacy of the E-Motional Training (ET)® Social Rehabilitation Program in the Treatment of Users with Substance-Related Disorders and Development of Biomarkers Predictive of Response through Proteomics.
