About

Vincent Wagner (PhD in clinical psychology) is a researcher at the University Institute on Addictions in Montreal, Canada. He is also adjunct professor at the Addiction Studies and Research Program at the University of Sherbrooke. His research interests cover trajectories of people who use psychoactive substances, including their services utilization and processes of change. His projects are essentially qualitative and collaborative in nature, with a focus on vulnerable populations. In recent years, he has received federal and provincial funding for three research projects targeting older adults with a loss of autonomy (1) in residential and long-term care settings; (2) with an experience of social precariousness and using community housing resources; (3) receiving home care and support services.
