Decision-making and the use of evidence

While reflecting on the case studies and the multiple ways in which scientific data are used, the processes will be explained through which evidence is used to impact on policy. This presentation will also outline methods of comparative policy analysis and, again drawing on the case studies, suggest those methods that appear to have the most potential for comparing differing approaches to the use of data and evidence in policy making in these member states.
