Evaluations of recreational cannabis legalisation in the US – overview and key lessons for policymakers

Based on a review of the literature on changes to policies on non-medical cannabis use in the the Americas and the evidence on their impacts, this presentation will provide an assessment of the early evidence emerging from evaluations of recreational cannabis legalisation in the US and highlight the key issues that policy makers need to consider when establishing monitoring and evaluation programmes when such changes are introduced.
