About

Anton Van Dijck is a sociologist who has experience in both harm reduction work as research. More specifically, his experience is oriented towards people who inject drugs (PWID), among others in the context of the Needle and Syringe (exchange) Program (NSP) of the Free Clinic in Antwerp, Belgium. Research experience mainly applies to qualitative studies. The past two and a half years (2017-2019) he conducted the NPS-care project, a study into the health aspects of NPS use in Belgium funded by the federal government and coordinated by the University College of Ghent (HoGent) in consultation with Sciensano, the Belgian Institute for Health.
